Pita king

Excellent!!! Don’t be put off by the location and simple atmosphere—the food is yummy. Pita chips are addictive; so are the picked garlic.

Good food. I had a delicious gyros pita wrap. Enjoyed it a lot.

Deliciously cooked with a variety of meats, veggies, fresh pita, and yummy sauce BUT 1 plate can feed 2-3 people! We were on the road and asked the owner and he said one plate fed 1 (no sir, that's way too much food). The takeout box was piled full with delicious foods we couldn't finish so we had to throw out a bunch which was wasted money.

Consistently delicious and large portions. No other restaurant comes close to portion size. Owner Alfredo is awesome, he runs a tight ship and is always happy. A gem tucked away in Escondido!

Update: Came back to say Alfredo's Tabbouleh salad is the definition of fresh. Healthy and light, packed with the freshest parsley, onion and tomato, it's my addiction!
