I first met Dr. Patel when I broke my ankle about 9 weeks ago. I thought his knowledge of my type of injury and his interpersonal skills were superb.....and I'm not one to be easily impressed. I fully expected after the x-rays confirmed a broken ankle, that he would jump immediately to the more expensive surgery route. Instead he showed me the x-rays, talked through my options, (and surgery was one of them), but in the end, he was willing to do whatever treatment I felt good with, and he recommended we give the bone some time to prove that it could move back into position with a cast, and let surgery be a second plan attach if need be. That was impressive to me. I've had other doctors jump to surgery. I see Dr. Patel every few weeks during this long recovery process and with every appointment, even though the lobby is full of patients, I'm never wait in the waiting room more than 10 minutes, I'm seen by the Dr. within minutes of getting into the exam room -- I feel they recognize my time is valuable, too. I'm just very impressed and appreciate the services that he and his office personnel provide.
