  I presented to the Emergency Department with blunt force trauma. Every person in the organization with whom I came in contact, was respectful, cheerful, competent, and caring. Dr. Stephen A. Dunphy established rapport quickly, was quick in his assessment though not rushed, has a wonderful sense of humor which he uses to good advantage, and is excellent in maintaining communication with his patients. The nurses were just as attentive and caring as was the lady who "drove" my wheelchair while I was there. I have no reservation or hesitation in recommending your services to anyone in need. I found the facility to be spotless, well lighted, quiet, and calming in design. My thanks to each of the staff members who contributed to the continuum of care I received while there. In my time as a Police Sergeant, I have seen Emergency Rooms which can only be described as chaotic and hellish. Palomar had none of that at all. For people who work in emergent circumstances, they are all amazingly calm, cheerful, and attentive, all while wasting no time.

  By far the most beautiful hospital in SoCal. It is architecturally amazing. I was not treated here or a patient. But I occasionally work here, and the staff seems nice enough. I was a little put off by the cafeteria dining area. I thought it could have been a little cleaner. Overall, if I was in the area and in need of medical attention, I would definitely consider Palomar as an option.
