  I Love the chill vibe of IB and the pier is where it all happens. Lots of fun events take place here, from Pow Wows to Sand Castles to Symphony by the Sea! There's a Weekly Farmers Market and fishing off the pier. Beautiful sunsets.

  Great place for a day out in the sun. When in I. B. You gotta try the clam chowder from the TinFish restaurant at the end of the pier.. well worth the walk.

  Very lovely destination, clean, homeless free. And no crazies walking. Parking is a little hectic but a great place to go on a sunny day after school.

  This was such a great place I accidentally stumbled upon. I was in San Diego for Comic Con and I got there too early for check-in. I decided to check out a beach. There was a pier, beach, bathrooms, grassy area, shops and food. First the bathrooms, you can never underestimate a good, clean and well stocked bathroom. One of the best I have seen at any beach. The Tin Fish at the end of the pier was so good I ended driving back there for dinner. Would definitely come back here if I am ever in the San Diego area.

  Great sandy beach and food/bathroom within walking distance. Best people watching with added benefit of waves, breezes and clean beach. It was 4th July and a little crowded in late afternoon but not before. Lots of families having fun!
