Shepherd's Trail Catholic Retreat Center and Campground

Our youth Pilgrimage was a huge success at the Shepherds Trail. Facilities were awesome. Even though it rained, we were able to enjoy most of the property.

Our stay at Shepherd's Trail was awesome! We held a retreat in August, so it was nice to have pool access on top of having volleyball, basketball, and soccer available to us during free time. The cabins kept us nice and cozy at night with solid air conditioning. The Camp director was friendly and extremely helpful towards our group!

Our first time at Shepherd's Trail was a great experience. The cabins are in excellent condition, all recently renovated, and the air conditioning in all the rooms was perfect, since we were there in August. Our youth greatly enjoyed the pool, playing basketball and volleyball during our free time. The Camp Director, Guiseppe helped us with everything we needed from audio equipment to setting up the BBQ. We appreciated very much being able to bring our own kitchen crew to help make the retreat more affordable, but also the flexibility of setting our own meal times around our retreat schedule.

Shepherds Trail Retreat Center is a beautiful private ranch perfect for a retreat. We hosted ONE TRIBE RETREATS here and it was perfect. We rented the 2 cabins which had 13 beds each and also were provided with a full kitchen and an outside theatre which is where we had an outdoor performance. Thank you so much to Mark for referring us here, showing us around and being genuinely helpful from start to finish. We will definitely be coming back to host another retreat! Thank you Shephards Trail Retreat Center for the amazing space and accommodations!

Greatly enjoyed our time while tent camping at Shepherd’s Trail, in the shadow of Lyon’s Peak. Giuseppe the camp director was very accomodating and attentive. Nice shade trees, pool, bathhouse, and beautiful handmade stone walls that you rarely see anywhere else these days — took the caretaker decades to make. Lots of quail and mountain (big) doves on the premises. Horsethief trail (with seasonal rock pools) is nearby, as is the fun Lyons Valley Trading Post. The drive out here, be it via Skyline Truck Trail (newly paved) or Honey Springs Rd, is quite nice. Thanks for a great experience on short notice.
