  It's starting to look better, it used to be not good because it was dirty and really not much to do. But now it's clean with a lot of space to have fun or just enjoy the sunset. ????

  I love it here. When it is not busy with huge family parties or the people who live in their RVs in the parking lot, it is a quaint place to relax or walk the dogs. Watching the boats come in and out as well as the fishing off the tiny pier is also calming. Easy parking and many eating places on the other side of the freeway to being for a picnic, or the Waterfront has incredible food. Have a nice visit!

  Been coming here through out my life. Sure has changed, when I was a kid there used to be rafts made out of skinny logs bound together just floating around on the shore. Then I remember tons of ppl used to congregate on the Sandy dunes that are now the nature preserve to go dirt biking. I mean hundreds of people. Now, we have the pier 32 grill and the boat slips. My National City is a diamond in the rough and all the low income people who own property here own million dollar lots with the best weather in the world. I'd rather own property here than in Malibu. It's cold over there! San Diego has way warmer weather. Eat your heart out everyone else, we got here first. National City is Mexicans on the bay directly across the bay from silver strand. N.C. you wish it was yours but it's ours! And priceless and you knew it before I said it.

  I grew up coming here with my family. Now i bring my own kids. We Love this Park. So much to do...or just relax and have fun. Its really changed throughout the years. Its a great Place to visit.

  I get to see water , relax and soak up some sun here. If I don't want to drive to beach, I come here. Daughter likes this place, it was a little chilly today. The park is always clean, the bathrooms were clean too!!! Seen a cool pelican, and other birds. Got people fishing out there too!! It's a cool atmosphere, no drama. Family oriented type place. You could dock your boat here too!!!
