(June 9, 2012, 10:59 am)First Baptist Church San Luis Rey is a welcoming, warm church community with a growing ministry and a down-home, community church feel. The congregation is a blend of different cultural backgrounds but they are truly one in Christ. This church has recently experienced a revival, as Chris Flores became interim pastor, and has dazzled us with some of the finest expository preaching I have ever heard. There are lots of ways to serve in this growing ministry, from worship team, to children's ministry, to youth group (every Friday). Worship is a blend of traditional Baptist hymnity and contemporary praise, performed with fun and joy. This is truly a place to belong!
