  Mr. Tom is the best teacher to how play piano from Mr. Tom Is very patient with all his students and also he is very calm. So I recommend that you would go see Tom Satterfield first because he is the best teacher for your son to learn from. A shout out to Mr. Tom thank you for always being the best teacher and also thank you for inspiring to play the piano everyday without you I would not even be able to play the piano so thank Mr. Tom for everything for everyone us that takes the time to practice and perfect our skills to learn a lot.

  Upon looking for something to get my 7-year-old son “in to”, his Dad and I decided to put him in music lessons to learn the piano with Tom at Satterfield Studios. My son has done swimming and baseball, and has liked them both; however, he absolutely loves piano lessons with Tom! Tom is extremely patient, great with children, talented in his teaching skills, and a wonderful musician!
  
  It’s been a little over a year now that my son has been taking lessons with him. I’m so amazed at my son’s ability to read music, play beautifully and with passion, and to express himself through the piano! This has been his first time ever learning the piano, and the success in only one year has made me one, proud parent. I recommend Satterfield Studios to anyone who is truly looking to learn musical talent. Five stars hands down and two thumbs up! Thank you from this happy Mama~

  Our two sons, age 8 and 10, have been taking lessons from Tom for nearly 3 years. He's great with kids and works hard to keep them engaged and interested. It's often a struggle to get my kids to practice, and Tom gives them positive incentives to keep them having fun instead of rigid discipline. He gives them a nice varied repertoire with a mix of skill builders, classics, and fun songs of their choice including Star Wars, Harry Potter, and rock artists like the Beatles and Green Day. We're very happy with how our kids have progressed as musicians under Tom's tutelage.

  Tom has taught piano to my youngest daughter for about 2 years now and has taught my youngest son guitar about a year now. It has been a good balance for my daughter and my son loves learning guitar. He is patient, open-minded, and flexible. Each student is different and he respects that. He actually teaches them to READ music, not just play it. Basically, he’s a pretty cool guy that knows his stuff. ????????????

  As a computer science teacher I believe that the connections made in the brain when learning music aid in comprehension of key skills for learning math and computer science. As a parent I value the ability to play an instrument as building a well rounded person.
  
  Tom's methods engage my kids by allowing them to focus on music that interests them while imparting a solid foundation that has allowed them to learn multiple instruments.
  
  Beyond simply music, Tom's use of recitals to motivate students to practice also give them the opportunity to perform in front of a crowd. This skill translates not only directly into activities like public speaking but also helps them to become self advocates and leaders.
  
  Tom's talent with children shines in the results showcased at every event.
