Angelo's Burgers

We enjoyed the burger here and the coffee is amazing…iced caramel latte.

We were driving up the coast in search of a good antique store and recognized we were hungry. This was the first place we saw so we stopped. Service was less than enthusiastic, but the food was good. I had the quarter pound hamburger, he had the avocado burger. Both were quite tasty, but the onion rings were a throwback to old fashioned goodness. The beer selection is nice, good local variety.

Angelo's has multiple locations along the coast. Small family biz.
Delicious burritos and salads.
Bacon burgers are recommended.

The price for the food is low. Prices for fountain drinks were high imo ($3.29 for a medium cup) I paid $8.99 for a (jumbo) fish burrito.

Most tables were taken during lunch time. I had about 10 minutes wait for my food. To be expected for a popular spot. There was some construction noise so I chose to sit on patio.

Staff has changed and not so friendly. Food prices have increased but portions are still very generous. Two people can easily share a plate.

We stopped here to eat during a motorcycle ride on the 101 and it was a pleasant experience. The portions are big and the service was fast and friendly. The food was good, a little bland for my taste, but nothing a little hot sauce can't fix. I liked it and would stop by again if I'm in the area.
