Fun and surprising. Dog friendly outdoor seating and accommodations for larger groups. Great vibe and serves food later in the evening. The Mexican Martini is one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced flavors of tequila, lime, agave and olive juice. The rim seasoning was a huge surprise. It’s savory and sweet with a touch of spice. The Grilled Chicken Honey Mustard salad was a successful unique combination of ingredients. Fried leeks, roasted savory carrots, cucumber and fresh greens delivered a satisfying group of textures and flavors. My only suggestions are to put the salad in a large bowl, the plate was small and things started falling off the plate when I dug in. It should come with 2 ramekins of dressing instead of one. The chicken was a tiny bit overcooked but everything was so delicious it made up for it.

The service was rocky at first but the hostess provided redemption. I walked in and a customer was socializing with a server at the host stand. After not being acknowledged I was ready to leave when the hostess asked if I’d been helped. I didn’t express any irritation, but she apologized and thought I was with the other customer. Her intuitive response redirected my experience. Great job!

Excellent food, fast friendly service! The Bourbon maple bacon Brussel sprouts are some of the best we've had. The Cold Smoked Picanha Steak was something different to try but very tasty, and the Steak and Mushroom Pot Pie was excellent! If you have room at the end, try the Chocolate And Peanut Butter Mousse Parfait. It's light but decadent! So so good!

The first time we came was just for drinks (although we did order the Bone Marrow). This time we came for dinner.

After reading all or most of the reviews here on Yelp, I knew the Beef Cheeks was the de facto thing to order off the menu, so I did as well as my buddy. My wife ordered the Seafood Linguini and another wife ordered the Elote Lettuce Wraps.

The Beef Cheeks are other-worldly...insane flavor, so tender. Imagine pot roast or slow braised short ribs, but better. The fingerling potatoes and roasted carrots were perfect sides, all served in one iron pot with microgreens as a garnish. My wife has already pre-ordered this dish for the next time we visit

The Seafood Linguini was good, although it was served piping HOT, like super hot. And the bowl was huge. It was good, but it resembled too much of the type of dishes I make at home so it didn't seem special enough to order again.

We heard the Elote Lettuce Wraps were amazing...and a definite order-again possibility. To cap off the food, we had the Creme Brulee. The flavor changes I think over time, but the version we had this time was quite possibly the best creme brulee custard I have ever had. Seriously. It was that good. Granted it was $15, which is a bit steep for a creme brulee but at least it was mighty tasty.

For drinks, we orderd:

* Eppig Amber (beer)
* Botanist's Basket
* Barrel-Aged Margarita

The only thing I wouldn't order again was the Eppig Amber. It lacked sweetness, not that I like sweet beer but it was pretty flat. Some ambers are awesome, and some are not...that's for sure. I would ditch this one off the menu unless you have some die-hard fans out there.

Outstanding food and atmosphere. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The menu definitely offers an eclectic range of choices, but none will disappoint. I had the wine braised beef cheeks and it was glorious. My family all ordered something different so I had an opportunity to sample half the menu, we all ordered different dishes, and every one was delicious. The appetizers are killer too. And the drinks were perfect; excellent bartenders. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in the area.
