A Better Auto Repair

I got recommended by a guy I know to come to this place, and I will say I am definitely coming back. I had a flat tire, firestone told me it was unpatchable, and tried to charge me 300$ for a new tire! Then I go to this place, they patch it! Says it'll last as long as my tire does, and charged me a very nice price. I will be coming back to this place for future vehicle stuff, even if I have to go the extra mile to make it here. Thanks guys

I had a piece of plastic from the front bumper hanging off and dragging when I drove on it. I brought it in first thing when they opened in the morning and Jose and the other staff there were so amazing. He explained so much to me about that and had his guys fix it so quickly. I had some other car repair work prior to that (replaced tires at a local tire shop) and he gave a lot about how he could have knowledgeable advice about that. Also his guys found that my oil wasn’t even in the car barely! I just had my oil changed not even 2 months prior! Some big warnings about those 15 minute oil change places!

I heard about this auto shop from my trusted neighbor and I also hear about it from another separate person. Great service, super knowledgeable, and they go above and beyond! Would highly reccomend them! Thank you!!

Richard is my son and I was a single mother while he was growing up. Because I couldn't afford a mechanic he and I did as much work on the car as we could. He was there when repair shops charged me for services I didn't get. He was there when they lied to me about their poor workmanship and then overcharged me. In his impressionable youth he had to stand by and watch his mom fight with unscrupulous auto repair businesses.

As a teenager he decided that he would become a mechanic so that that wouldn't happen to other people. I advised him not to become mechanic because, "When was the last time you knew a mechanic that could afford a family?" He went on to prove me wrong. He put on his father's suit which clearly didn't fit him and applied for his 1st job in an auto repair shop. They hired him on the spot to mop floors. He went on to take all of the tests required to become an ASE certified master mechanic and now he owns his own business.

Today he provides the quality auto repair that I didn't get when he was young. He offers an honest service for an honest price. You won't get service you don't need and he'll tell you about repairs that you need to plan for in the future. I am proud that he has grown up to be a kind and responsible adult that can afford a family.

I encourage you to test my hypothesis. Take your next auto service to "A Better Auto Repair." See if you get the honest repairs that I was so desperate for when he was young. Then, someday in the near future, he will tell me another story about the family he helped, the roadside breakdown he fixed or the business he rescued.

You can’t find a more honest group of mechanics than at A Better Auto Repair. They used to be Dave’s in Carlsbad, but they moved to Oceanside. I have been taking my 2014 Chevy Sonic there for YEARS and they always take great care and never overcharge me! Such a great deal always. I highly recommend using them for any of your cars needs!

Jose and his boys are amazing!! Couldn't have asked for A BETTER customer service and quality repair. On top of that, they totally hooked me up!!! I came in for a really small but important repair, told them I was going to do it myself but just needed some help with tools. Jose said just to bring the parts in and that they would help me out. I'm beyond grateful to Jose and his team for helping with my heater hose installation. A simple fix that was causing me a lot of trouble. Shops like this are impossible to find! People who go out of their way to help you without trying to ream you on the bill. A Better Auto repair is my new go-to mechanic in Oceanside. If you want a quality repair for a great price.
