    Great park. Has a huge green area if you want to kick the ball with your kids or run around. Also, the play areas are amazing. There is an area for kids 2-5 and then an area that almost looks like a castle to kids for ages 6-10. Very clean and nice for the family.

City of Oceanside, California - The John Landes Skatepark

The John Landes Skatepark was opened in June 2003 and is located at the north end of the John Landes Park, 4215 Lewis Street. This skatepark is not staffed and is open during daylight hours only. Skaters must wear appropriate protective gear at all times. Riders who do not follow this rule may be asked to leave the park by recreation center staff.
