“I grew up on the Wabash River... and Catfish was my favorite childhood food. Felix's is without a doubt the best Catfish in San Diego County. They buy excellent ingredients... and they know how to cook! My favorite sides are Collard Greens, Braised Cabbage, and Mac N Cheese. In the dozen or so times I've eaten here I can't get away from the Catfish... it's that good. But, guests dining with me have raved about the Pulled Pork, the ribs and the Red beans and rice. There are not many soul food restaurants in North County... but Felix's is the best...not because of the lack of competition... they just deliver excellent food and excellent service,”

“And that is for the service, my waitress was young, but really on top of it, polite, friendly, courteous. Food was a 4 maybe 4.5 so good pub food but not great. Price was good so I felt that I had, (for the money) a great experience. With that being said, this is for the locals, don't change anything. I know better food quality means a big price increase. So leave it as is and keep the place packed.”

“I LOVE their pizza and it goes so well with the ranch they make in-house. The staff is also amazing and considerate. We ordered a big tub of ranch but they were in the process of making more. So they gave us 2 smaller chilled containers of ranch free of charge because they recommend eating the pizza with chilled ranch. It was so sweet! They will forever be my go to pizza-place.”

Matthew (Mateo) was my server-very attentive, but other servers would grab my empty plates as i finished, showing a good team. All of our food was correct, well plated, and tasty. “Went in for the first time today and loved it! Got the lunch combo, coconut curry chicken I believe it’s called and it was beyond delicious, it had a little kick but man it was so good. The lady at the register was so patient with us, she helped us out so much being that it was our first time, made some great suggestions and we are so thankful for her. Wish I could have gotten her name, she was amazing. The food was great, service was fast, definitely going back.”

“This is the go-to for Taco Tuesday! They have all the taco meat you could want. We are never disappointed with the tacos and the salsas they make are really good too. Tacos are actually reasonably priced at $1.00. I haven't stopped in when it's not taco Tuesday so can't say much about the regular prices. Only reason they get 4 stars and not 5 is because I wish they would remodel and make it nicer inside.”

“I found two Moroccan-Inpired table runners and I just love them. They are both reversible, so I can change them up. The fabric is durable and has a nice, natural feel to it, although I think it is type of treated cotton blend. Shipped right away and got here safely. For the price it is an excellent purchase. “Never had a donut habit till I moved near this place. The people who run the shop are very friendly and patient, they don't take cards, but there are multiple atms in the shopping strip surrounding it. I almost always get a few extra donuts when I get a dozen and she gives me the good kind not cheap old ones. This is a great local business that offers decadent variety at good prices why go wait in line at dunkin when you can get fresh and unique ones cheaper and easier here. The cereal topped ones are delicious but my favorite menu item are the egg and bacon croissants, helps me feel energized and full till lunch time rolls around and they're not small, I can't always finish mine. I hope this place is here for another decade or two, at least until I can stop waking up at 4 in the morning to get everyone out the door on time.”

“So the baby fell asleep finally at 1230 and I was starving, I knew I’d be that person to order last since they stop delivering at 1 - I wasn’t expecting the best pizza of my life. But I was happily surprised, they gave me all the extra toppings and then some that I paid for as well as remembering my sauces down to the point of the delivery woman searching through the bag AGAIN to find the last one (sauces are v important in this house).
