  My son started seeing Danielle in the winter of 2017, he was having major issues with handwriting, he was also leaving words out of sentences and was just feeling very frustrated and overwhelmed with the mechanics of language arts. Danielle has done wonders for my son in the past 2 yrs. He has seen her on average once a week and his handwriting has improved significantly as seen in the examples. My son’s sentence structure has improved as well. My child no longer considers English to be a subject he can’t conquer. He is happy and engaged to go to his English class and his teacher is surprised and amazed at the difference. I would absolutely recommend Danielle to any parent that has a child that is struggling with things that may seem routine for other children. Danielle engages my son in an easy-going no pressure way that I really wish more children could experience, he’s never rushed with her and he is and has always been super comfortable when he goes for his session with her.

  The school was doing nothing. So I took matters into my own hands and started to take my son to see "The Writing Lady" as we call her. Danielle not only gave me advice on how to handle the school, but helped my son enjoy and feel more confident with his writing. She taught him (and me) many ways to do fun strengthening exercises and games, as well as info about pencil grips, and motivated my son to learn cursive and shoe tying. She is patient and kind and working with her has been a positive force in my son's life for the past six months. My son felt comfortable in the home-like atmosphere and got to see that other kids also go to see the "The Writing Lady". He enjoys going! I recommend.

  My son has attended occupational therapy sessions with Danielle at Writesteps for six months. Danielle is a phenomenally talented OT and she works on skills beyond what is traditionally offered during school-based therapy. My son has ADHD and struggles significantly with handwriting and motor planning. Danielle has systematically taught him cursive writing and uses many innovative multi-sensory techniques in her therapy. My son does not realize he is receiving therapy because Danielle makes every session a lot of fun for him. He enjoys the interactive games and motor activities that she implements before and after handwriting practice. I have worked as a school psychologist for 20 years and I only would send my son to Danielle for therapy. She understands the supports and training children need from a developmental perspective.
