  Casa Paloma is a wonderful place! The owners are thoughtful in all ways: in maintenance, decor and greeting their customers! We had the opportunity to stay in 2013 but with the busy-ness of a young family, I never got the opportunity make my review. In looking at the photos (2014), the place has been developed and well-taken care of. There is a serenity in the place that makes your first steps a welcoming one. Imagine coming off a long travel and arriving back home to a comfy living room, kitchen and bedroom and having all its comforts. It's like having a second home in San Diego! And, it has more space than a hotel room for its value. You've just walked out of your own home and transplanted yourself in San Diego. The courtyard in the back is tranquil with space to relax! You are steps away to having a nice neighborhood walk. The homes in the area seem tightly close together but it is efficiently private. The grounds are well manicured and the neighborhood seems so quiet that its an oasis!
  The owners did provide my family with an extra perk since we were new to San Diego area and provided helpful suggestions on what to do.
  It's worth coming over for the visit to San Diego and to come back to Casa Paloma. We are planning to come back someday and will check to see if they have availability!

  The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The shower was heaven and loved spending time on the patio with the hummingbird just relaxing after a day out

  Casa Paloma has all the comforts and conveniences of home in a spa-like, tropical setting. The patio and spa are soothing and relaxing after a day of sight-seeing and activities. Paula and Keith couldn’t be better hosts. Their recommendation led us to Café Bleu to celebrate a special event. Nearby is Ortega’s with great Mexican food.
  
  The house is centrally located. You can walk to restaurants and shops in popular Mission Hills or venture a bit further to explore Hillcrest, which has its own ambience. Balboa Park and The Harbor are minutes away. Being situated close to the I-5 and C-63 freeways means further destinations can be just a short jaunt. Casa Paloma has everything you could want in a vacation get-away.
