This program has been outstanding for our family for almost three years. SaBumNim Matt Armstrong is the reason my children feel devoted to Taekwondo and work hard to grow and improve their martial arts skills. He's a one-of-a-kind instructor who wholeheartedly respects his students by meeting them where they're at while holding them accountable. Matt's a remarkable role model for children and relates his own martial arts learning experiences to his students'. The class structure is ideal and very much appreciated: pay-as-you-go and makeup classes anytime. For siblings, each class is $7 each, otherwise $8. AYOP is a San Diego family gem.

My grandson has been attending classes with Matt for 3 years. I think this is a great program, very affordable and very flexible. Matt's classes instill respect and discipline in all of his students. Matt's quiet demeanor transfers to his students and I appreciate not only the discipline of Tae Kwon Do, but also the example of respectful, adult behavior by the staff. I recommend this program.

My son has been attending for several years and this has been the absolute best experience. The instructors are wonderful and classes are well organized. If you’re looking for a cost effective way to get your child into martial arts this is exactly where you want to be.

My kids love this program. We just started here about a month ago. The kids look forward to Thursday's with Sabanim. The classes are really affordable and the instructor focuses on Non -bullying with the skills they learn within the classes.
