I have whiplash from a car accident from many years ago. I had been trying many different chiropractors over 20-30 years and this guy is the only one that has techniques that helps my alignment. I'm addicted to his treatments, as my pain levels can get pretty high without regular maintenance. I brought my finance here with me and he got to discover his spinal alignment and get treated. He accepts many types of insurance, like Kaiser and VA(triwest). Just ask him if your is accepted and you may not have to pay out of pocket at all. Thank you Dr Ferguson.
I have been going to Dr. Ferguson for a little over a year now. I have experienced back and hip pain for over 10 years and have been misdiagnosed with everything from fibromyalgia to sciatica. I have gone to everything from chiropractors, acupuncturist, massage therapist to Rheumatologist. All of the treatments I previously received did not bring me any relief. I got to the point, I just accepted the pain and figured I would always have it.
Occasionally though, the pain would spread to my neck and down into my foot to the point it hurt to walk. This motivated me to try a treatment option again. I chose Dr. Ferguson because he specializes in back and neck pain. He was able to see me the same day I called which was an added bonus.
At my first appointment, I went into his office with it hurting to walk and after the treatment, I was pain-free. I couldn’t believe it!
Unlike my experience with other chiropractors who do the quick “back crack” and send you on your way. Dr. Ferguson used a couple of devices to measure the tension of my muscles and find where the main muscle strain was occurring. He also tests your muscles (at every visit) to see where the weakness is and where adjustment needs to be made. He does adjustments and uses techniques such as light massage, and an Activator Adjustment Instrument (a little pressure gun) to assist in the adjustments.
In addition to making the adjustments, he was able to provide me with solutions so I am not dependent on chiropractic visits, such as providing me with insoles at the right heights so my body is in alignment, and teaching me which exercises and stretches will improve my posture, and flexibility so my symptoms decrease.
I did his 3 month intensive – which is really well priced – and saw him twice a week. I then was able to decrease my visits to once a week, then to every other week and now I only see him once a month.
It is awesome to see a doctor who wants you to truly improve and not being fully dependent on treatments. Dr. Ferguson is extremely kind, friendly, professional and talented at what he does! I highly recommend him and always recommend him to my friends and family.
I've been seeing Dr Leland for almost 2 years now and can honestly say it has been worth it. I play multiple sports and work out during the week so over the years tiny issues have slowly grown into larger ones. Dr Leland has helped me through each issue that I've had so far.
Each visit I will describe the issue or issues that I've been having and how it happened. Dr Leland will then slowly work through the different causes and fix me in what I can only describe as black magic because fixing a completely different part of the body fixes my original problem. I'm a curious guy by nature so each time I ask the whys behind what he is doing and he isn't afraid to answer or give me vague descriptions. I ask for recommendations on exercises/stretches that could prevent the injuries and he is always willing to give his opinion. I've learned quite a lot about the human body and how it works (not anywhere close to him though) by going to him and it has helped me change my workouts to fix issues based on my lifestyle.
His work in my opinion, is closer to a physical therapist than what people would normally consider a chiropractor. He has a vast knowledge base and his table side manners are great. I've referred a couple of people to him and each one has had similar experiences to me. I plan on continuing going to him each time I have an issue and will continue to refer people to him whenever needed.
Dr.Leland is great! I have been going with him for more than a year and he's been very helpful. He pays close attention and makes sure you are improving. He is also very friendly!
