Since September of 2014, I had the great pleasure of working with Carlos at Skyline Flight Training. Every flight with Carlos was fun and exciting. Carlos was always eager to teach and was positive during every lesson. His pricing was very fair and he was always willing to work efficiently and cost-effectively. Carlos was always willing to help when help was needed. I completed my Private Pilot license with him faster than with any other instructor - although I already did a lot of the work with past flight schools.
Overall, I really enjoyed working with Carlos. He really did do an excellent job with everything, and I look forward to completing many more ratings and endorsements with him. Thanks for all your help, Carlos. I HIGHLY recommend working with him.
Did their Living Social first timer deal, what an amazing experience! Carlos was my instructor and he seems to be popular among everyone else on here as well! He did a great job going over the basics with me, helping me to better understand how the aircraft operated and making sure I was completely at ease. He didn't rush it but he was sure to get us in the air as quickly as possible, explaining everything as he went and then handing me the controls once we were at a safe altitude. Even if you have no interest in getting a pilot's license, this is something I recommend anyone try at least once!!!

All the lessons and instruction I received was fun and very useful. With Skyline you will not only learn how to fly, but have a great time doing it. They treat your needs as a priority, and guide you from a private pilot license up to commercial on a path best suited for you. I passed my private written test as well as the check-ride first try thanks to Skyline. Carlos is one of the best instructors in San Diego, and anyone who has flown with him will say the same!
