  Mount Soledad Presbyterian Church is a warm welcoming place of worship. My husband and I have been attending for years and absolutely love everything about it. The worship is amazing, I look forward to it every Sunday. Pastor John is a strong leader, he is very present and always makes time for our family. The sermons are relatable and really speak to your heart. The congregation is friendly and it makes you feel at home. Our two children thrive in the Sunday school program. I love how they leave so excited to tell us about what they leaned about the Bible that Sunday. Our family invites anyone looking for a church to call home to visit Mount Soledad Presbyterian Church. It is a wonderful church.

  My wife and I had been looking for a church home throughout San Diego and weren't having much luck finding the perfect place. My wife comes from a Catholic background while I was brought up in a Methodist church. We have young boys and were blessed to find Little Steps Christian Preschool for our first and that brought us to the front door of MSPC. We thought we'd give it a shot and it immediately felt like home to us. Pastor John really knows how to connect personally with everyone throughout his sermons. After our first Sunday attending MSPC, our doorbell rang within days and it was Pastor John giving us a delicious loaf of Welcome Bread and made time to really get to know us. Since then, he and his wife have become family to us...not to mention all of the other young families at the church that we have gotten to know so well. We have been to large churches before like The Rock and felt like more of a number instead of an important part of the family like we do at MSPC. Derek Rice and his team do an incredible job sharing their musical talents and Stephanie Reed does a fantastic job with our kids as the Youth Director. We are also very active in a Young Families Group that meets on Tuesday nights where everyone is fed and then we split into an Adult group and a Children's group where we learn similar teachings in a parent-child focused way that is really unique and has become incredibly helpful - we have received and utilize other parent's tips often. I could go on and on, but I'll say one last basic thing...the view of the cross a top Mt Soledad, the mountains and San Diego from our seats at church on Sunday is the perfect backdrop for this perfect church. I highly recommend anyone giving MSPC a shot. God Bless!

  This is a warm and welcoming church! Easy to make friends, easy to fill up your thirst for Faith, Wisdom, and Direction in Life. Love that it is inter-generational.

  Good scenic location for events with lots of space, and a view of the Mt Soledad cross. If you're looking for a church service to attend, the pastor is nice and people are welcoming.
