Ralphs

I thought this was a great little local type grocery store. Nice varieties of foods, drinks and other grocery items. The prices are high, but what you would expect to pay in other areas just like this. The story is clean and nice and the service is friendly. I would rather go here than a huge chain.

This is *the best* grocery store I’ve ever went to . They have everything you need from every different cuisine possible. They are always accommodating in that way. They have the widest variety of cuisines. Especially for someone who is from a different country, it’s so comforting to know you don’t have to go to multiple places to find food that’s close to your heart. The employees have always been helpful and kind to me. I’ve been shopping with them for 3 years now. My week is complete only after I pick up my groceries and some fresh flowers from their in store flower shop. It’s crowded during evenings and weekends so it’s important to plan ahead to avoid rush hour long lines. One of the reasons I love the store is because they have extended times into the night which might seem weird but it is so convenient for those who want to avoid crowds at all counts.

Well I never thought I would be reviewing a grocery store, but it has been nearly two years since I’ve shopped here and I still think about it constantly. First, this Ralphs is CLEAN— like a fresh haircut. Each aisle is so neatly stocked, no random/blank info cards, no half empty boxes, no awkward spaces. Whoever stocks these shelves should get an award.
Second, it has AMENITIES. Of course you got your bakery, deli, hot lunches. But the deli has an expanded menu, there is a large Kosher grocery section, multiple aisles of alcohol and an EAT-IN BAR. Yes, a bar— in the middle of a grocery store. Of course at the front there is a bank, but also dry-cleaning, tailor, and a post office.

Now, I haven’t been in since I was working in SD back in 2019, so I’m not sure how it’s been affected by the pandemic. But I’ve never had a grocery store leave such an impression. If someone is visiting SD, I would put this store on a list of places to visit.
