  As a first time Porsche 981 Boxster owner, I was concerned about the costs associated with doing a 20K mile service and finding the right indy shop that I can trust (I've always owned Toyotas and Lexuses in the past). After doing my research on Yelp, I reached out to several shops around my neighborhood for quotes, Select German Car Service was one of them. Of the responses I received, Max was the quickest, most thorough and the clearest in his responses and follow ups. Max answered emails and texts at all hours of the delay and was able to make modifications to the repair/maintenance quote, which I very much appreciated.
  
  After a few text exchanges, I felt comfortable with the quote Max provided and his demeanor, which was friendly, factual and answered all my questions. I scheduled with Max to deliver the car today, 10/12, at 10 AM and was greeted with a friendly smile from Max. He helped me with getting the paperwork started, told me they would complete the oil change, brake fluid and full car inspection within 3 hours and asked me for the keys. Straightforward and painless.
  
  When my car was ready, Max sent me a text to come pick it up. Final invoice was exactly as Max had quoted, minus the 10% discount for being a first time customer and checking in with Yelp. When I got in the car, I notice they had a floor mat cover and steering wheel cover to prevent my car from getting dirty. Nice touch! The inspection report was sent by link over text, which provided easy to read detail. My coolant was low and they added 1 liter plus did reset on the Porsche error codes - no charge.
  
  Whole process was very pleasant and I am impressed by the level of professionalism, communication and timeliness of the service.

  This is my current to go workshop to fix my car. I just had my car cables fixed due to rodents that bit the cable that runs to the AC compressor. Max is super scrutinize with his diagnose and inspection to the car prior to fixing it and let you know what can be fixed and what can’t. He is very honest and I would recommend this shop to anyone who would like to do maintenance or just some fixes.

  Excellent workmanship, customer service, and pricing! Max and company are top-notch! From routine maintenance to cosmetics (convertible top replacement) to major service (clutch, IMS bearing, etc.), my German cars are running and looking great! I highly recommend you give them a try!

  Did a brake fluid flush! Max and the team deserved a pat on back for great and reliable service! Be back next couple of weeks for another service to my car. I recommend! ????

  This is the best car service we have ever been in SD. They are professional, fast and reliable. We have an Audi and we use it a lot. Sometimes more than 3000 miles a month and we experience some problems. There is not any problems they couldn’t find and fix yet. And their prices are very affordable when compared to other car services. I strongly recommend you Select German Car Service.
