This is a great place to take a socialize dog. Thay can run to their hearts content. And sniff all the butts they can take.
Safe place to walk run or just hang out and play fetch.
This is a one of a kind place. Use it or lose it.
The place is great to have a beach bon fire or take your dogs off leash. Plenty of room to run around you can go in the water and have fun. The only downside is it can attract so shady elements to the park that are not desirable.
Heaven on Earth. The whole family loves this place. Sand, sun, trees, breeze, open space...it’s like no other place I’ve been. Highly recommend. Off leash dog park is amazingly therapeutic for both animals and their owners.
I've taken 3 of my dogs here over the years, and joined a friend who took his dog here. I've even walked here from my house miles away. It's a great location, and nicer than the rest of Fiesta Island. Great spot to see the flowers during the spring, especially during El Niño years. My dogs have all liked this dog park. There are black plastic bags in a few spots which you might need, and a few wooden tables. Some other dogs are friendly, others' aren't. Because of the park itself, this is where I prefer to take a dog. It's much better than the tiny fenced areas with grass many dog owners frequent. My dog and I like it more than Dog Beach too. The left side of the photo is from Fiesta Island
This is a great place to bring your pup for them to roam off-leash. Or, if you just love dog watching, also a fantastic place to take a walk along Mission Bay It's a huge space that's gated. There is a main parking area, but you can also park along side the park and enter at any of the gates.
Dog bags and receptacles are all over the park, although there are some instances where people still don't pick up their dogs doody. There aren't any restrooms or doggy water bowls, so just be sure to be prepared when you come (for you and your pups sake).
Fiesta Island Dog Park. Köpek Gezdirme Alanı. My dogs are obsessed with this place. It is the largest dog park I've ever been to... people and dogs both love it! It has gorgeous sunsets and fabulous green plants and flo.
View tips about Fiesta Island Dog Park from local hosts. Voted the #1 dog park in the U.S.A. --- it's a acres of bay frontage and chaparral dedicated to offleash dogs. You can sometimes spot an occasional wolf pet here, because it's one of the few spaces large enough for a wolf to run.

At Fiesta Island Dog Park, you'll find trails, sandy dunes, plenty of beach, and water to swim in. Look for the designated off-leash areas, and let your dog be free! Although Fiesta Island offers wild open space and gorgeous views, the park is not equipped with the usual amenities.
Fiesta Island Dog Park. Fiesta Island Dog Park in San Diego, CA.
Susan Fields Vieira recommends Fiesta Island Dog Park. January 19 ·. This place is what I imagine heaven would be for dogs! Best off leash dog park in San Diego!! Lots of room to roam and run as well as plenty for humans to get a nice mile or longer loop walk in.
FIDO (Fiesta Island Dog Owners) is a non-profit. organization that is working to preserve the fenced off-leash area where humans exercise with their off-leash dogs. FIDO hopes to influence the city in order to change current city plans that would place roads and other developments within this area.
