  Great beach and generally easy to find a place to park. There's a great area with a few picnic tables. A nearby basketball court gives you a place to play hoops. A lifeguard tower and restrooms are right by the beach jetty making those services more convenient than other places on the beach.

  Parking is always such a hassle. The one time I find a great spot, I got a bolt and two nails on my tire. Really puts a damper on the day.
  
  But the beach is awesome. Even when it's busy, never feels like you're on top of the people near you. The bars and stores nearby definitely add to the vibe.

  Great beach but don't take your dog, or take any alcohol, or smoke anything or get caught letting someone underage ride an electric scooter otherwise you'll get a fine of up to $250 each. The cops were overly excited to hand out citations. Definitely a huge money maker for Mission Beach.

  Great views, free parking and lots of spaces to park if you know where to look. All around a great experience and a lot of fun. (Make sure to keep heading down along the beach for more parking spots near the jetty)

  This is my favorite beach in San Diego. If you find parking, it is a great place to enjoy the day with family and friends. They have a grassy area to play, grills to BBQ food, restrooms close by, a basketball court, lifeguards on duty, volleyball nets, a rocky trail on the side of the ocean that leads to a graffiti house and of course, the beautiful beach. You can also walk on the boardwalk and it leads you to Belmont Park. South Mission Beach is a great place to enjoy the day and nature and you will have a blast no matter what you do there.
