(June 11, 2016, 3:17 pm)Baby Bump Academy is a fantastic resource for Rochester area women who are dealing with infertility, who are pregnant, and postpartum mama's. Colleen Flaherty, the creator of BBA, is an incredible trainer who has helped me stay in shape throughout my pregnancy and a phenomenal resource for all pregnancy-related issues and nutrition. I have learned a great deal about research-based foods that support a healthy pregnancy that I would not have known about otherwise. I leave her classes feeling strong and empowered. I've always felt safe when working out, and she provides ample support when I push myself to do my best in her classes. An added bonus is that I am often working out with women who are also on the pregnant and postpartum journey! The gift of community makes the workouts so much more enjoyable and motivating! I cannot recommend this gym enough!
(January 17, 2014, 11:13 am)This is a great place to go for mothers-to-be or moms that have recently given birth. There are a variety of classes and groups that meet at Baby Bump Academy, from prenatal yoga to babywearing classes. They even do massage therapy and reflexology! Wow!
I'm really glad that Rochester has a place like this dedicated to helping pregnant and new moms.
