My household goods had already been moved, and it felt impossible to find a room to rent where the person didn't have pets. Correspondence with Foxwood while on deployment was so helpful, as soon as I returned, I moved in same day. It was a fully furnished apartment with utilities included in the rent with a month-to-month option. It's not lavish, but it is clean and comfortable in a safe neighborhood. You probably won't find a room to rent in San Diego for the price or accommodations. If I had to do it over again, I absolutely would.
