Tourmaline Beach

Beautiful views, beach is kind of crowded with seaweed. Great place to surf. Public restrooms available. Would be 5 stars if there was more parking.

This is the place to go if longboarding. The waves break perfectly for those type of boards. Short boarding however you should go closer to the pier, blacks beach or OB. Parking here depending on the time can be rough. I stopped by around 2 and parking was 80% full. One thing is that you cant swim here. If you do, you need fins or else the lifeguard will tell you to get out

Great beach if you like surfing. If you aren't a strong swimming or want to lay in the sand a different beach may be better. There are lots of rocks and kelp close to the wading depth. Those can interfere with swimming and wading. Lots of surfers and a few bodyboarders. Parking is limited.

Parking not always available since lot is small. Restroom/changing room on site. Nice beach, reasonably quiet (a few noisy music enthusiasts sometimes). Like to watch surfers? This is the place!
