  My experience with Avis was easy from beginning to end. From the reservation to pick up to return, everyone was very friendly and the costs were explained well and very transparent. I was even offered an upgrade to a brand new car upon pickup. The drop off also could not be easier. My only recommendation is to give a map for local gas stations - but even so the car got such good gas mileage it was not a problem.

  I strongly suggest signing up for Avis Preferred program as it is free and they do such a great job to take care of you. No hustle pick up and drop off, you get to choose your car via app and may be offered an upgrade. You don’t have to talk to anybody and the whole pick up process takes less than 10 minutes. In your profile you already choose all your insurance selection and upload your driver license. Their app is fantastic and if you don’t have it next time you travel you should definitely get one. Plus all the specials they offered online you get your car at a bargain pulse have a fantastic experience. Strongly recommended!!!

  Excellent experience! Received the exact vehicle that we booked online. We were even given different colors to choose from. There was no pressure to purchase any additional 'features'. There was a pending charge of $100 for about 5 days on my credit card (in the event of incidentals I assume), but fell off after those 5 days. Check in and check out process was also very smooth. Both only took about 5-10 minutes at the absolute most. Also, my girlfriend was added as a driver for free which was really nice.

  Fastest and easiest car rental I've ever done. Recently signed up for Avis preferred status as a free benefit with one of my credit cards, and couldn't believe how fast we were in and out with our rental. There was a line in the first floor Avis section for regular customers, but we followed the sign for Preferred and all I had to do was give my name and we were in our rental car and on our way in literally two minutes! We showed ID to the attendant on the way out of the garage which took less than thirty seconds and that was it. Wow!

  We had an amazing experience with Avis! The facility was spotless and well-organized. The staff were so helpful and friendly! We upgraded our rental and got a convertible..... it absolutely changed our vacation! We drove from San Diego up the highway all the way to San Francisco; it was an awesome drive! We were better able to enjoy the sights along the coast and the mountains in the convertible Mustang. I'm grateful to the staff at Avis for helping to make this happen for us!!
