(January 30, 2019, 12:58 am)We are long-time residents of Sunroad, located at the East end of Harbor Island, with breathtaking views of the downtown San Diego skyline. General Manager Jim Behun runs a first-class operation, with immaculate, well-maintained docks and facilities and beautifully landscaped grounds. The staff are friendly and helpful. It home to the winter San Diego Sunroad Boat Show, which just ended. Harbor Island is warmer than Shelter Island and isn't as breezy, making it easier to bring a boat into the docks without the strong offshore winds. The location across from the airport is extremely convenient. Nearby are two restaurants, Island Prime/ C-Level Lounge, with outdoor dining, which caters to both locals and tourists, and the newer Coasters, which emphasizes large parties.
