  I love this long standing Ocean Beach icon. From the mint jar at the front door, to the cup of tea had in the breezy out post in the back. All that is between are true athletes who have made this place special through years of commitment and true craftmanship.

  I have been going to Jill Suess at Peak Performance for acupuncture for over two years. She is fantastic and I come out feeling soooo relaxed and calm each time. Regular acupuncture is now part of my preventative health routine and a self care must. Jill is also a great masseuse and does cupping as well. I love the environment in her room at Peak Performance and wish I had such a relaxing and comfortable space in my house! Highly recommended!!

  I have been going to Danae for about six years for migraines. I was getting around 10 debilitating migraines a month. I tried every prescription pill the doctor would give me and finally was told there was nothing else they could do.
  
  I used to live down the street from Peak Performance and one day I got up the guts to try acupuncture with Danae. Honestly, she has saved my life. I now get treatment every couple months and only get migraines a handful of times in a year!

  I feel like a million bucks after getting a cupping session and massage from Danae! My shoulders, lower back, and traps were really tight from both sitting at the computer typing all day and weight lifting.
  
  After one quick trip Danae made me feel much better and my muscles are nice and loose again.
  
  I think the next time I go back I'll try out her acupuncture treatment as I the friends who referred me to her business said its great.
  
  Highly recommend!

  I want to post about an experience I had at Peak Performance Massage. The owner Danae Smith Koolen gave me the most awesome massage. I, too, am an HHP and a bit of a hard sell when to comes to having work done. I want to encourage any of you that are in need of quality bodywork or acupuncture to go to Danae at Peak Performance. She is top notch, very attentive and professional. I looked for quite a while for the right therapist - someone with great skills, good energy and professionalism and I recommend Danae to anyone seeking massage or accupuncture.
