  I really didn’t know what to expect, never being on a sailboat boat before, but it was the best part of my San Diego vacation! They did a wonderful job of telling the history of racing sailboats. The crew was exceptional and I got to take the helm and steer the boat. They took pictures of everything so I didn’t have to risk my phone going overboard. They made it into a nice video and sent it to us at no additional charge. I would really recommend this!

  What a fabulous day! This is a trip for anyone, not just sailors and not just for people who know about the America's Cup. It was informative, entertaining and enjoyable. And best of all, you could either just enjoy the ride, our work the wenches to hoist the sails. I'll be back.

  Incredible sailboat with the friendliest of staff. They went out of their way to make sure we had a memorable experience - answered every question, shared the history, and explained everything in a way that non-experts could understand and appreciate. It is something we won't forget. Thank you Stars & Stripes team.

  What a wonderful sail. Because of a cancellation, there were just 4 of us as guests on the boat including my wife and myself and a couple from Arizona. We had a wonderful time with everyone getting an extended time behind the wheel steering the boat. Our shipmates also took lots of time on the grinders. The weather wasn't perfect but the breeze was good and we got to see lots of fun sites along the bay including downtown, the USS Midway, active US navy ships and submarines and plenty of other boats in the bay - all of which we were faster than! It was a great afternoon with lots of time to talk to one of the boat's owners and hear about the history of this boat that raced in the 1992 America's Cup.

  Took my girlfriend onto the Stars and Stripes as we were looking for fun things to do in San Diego, and we had the most enjoyable time and got to take part of crew duties. The most surprising thing about the sailing tour we took was how fast the Stars N Stripes America's Cup boat went. We got up to 14 knots and could not believe what a rush it was. We also, got to drive the sailboat while the others were working the winches and tightening the lines. We highly recommend you take a tripe on the Stars N Stripes USA 11 the next time you are in San Diego!
