Awesome little park to get away from everything. Saw 1 other person there and a Police cruiser making their rounds that’s it.
Calm peaceful park and beginning of trail to Vann Damm peak. Yes, there are bathrooms, but are in need of cleaning. Nice well maintained park.
Very nice park. There are swings for big kids one one side (the bathrooms are also there). Then on the opposite side, there is the toddlers playground, and there are picnic tables and bbq pits there, too.
There is a lot of open grassy space, and there is also a baseball field. Lastly, there is a good walkway going around the park.
Nice clean park great to relax and do out door activities with family and friends
Sabre Springs Park is heavily used for both soccer and baseball/softball. There is a small playground for the little ones that is well maintained. There is not much in the way of parking for the size of fields and because of the shear numbers of youth leagues playing nearly year round, the fields have taken quite a beating. The baseball fields are lit for about an hour or so after dark and there is plenty of lighting on the path that leads around the park frequented by runners and walkers. I typically see people using a long set of stairs to workout on located at the entrance of the park and if that isn’t long enough there is a well worn trail behind the park that will give you plenty of uphill climb. Almost exactly 1/2 mile to the peak. If the fields were in a little better shape I could give this a 5 star rating but it’s been pretty rough for some time and I haven’t seen any improvement.
