(October 1, 2019, 12:33 pm)This is one of my favorite libraries to visit at anytime of day. There is plenty of comfortable seating and tables for extra spaces.
I bring my son to the children’s area often. He likes sitting at the theatre seats and reading aloud. Yes! He can read aloud here and not disturb the rest of the library. They even have toys and puppets suitable for the little ones. -

(September 1, 2017, 7:33 pm)This branch, like just about all of the SDPL branches I've visited, features a knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff. The ambience is comfortable with airy, light spaces. The architecture is a standout. It is evocative of the Scripps Ranch history as well as that of Spanish California. I have seen comments about the aging SFPL collection and it is true that the City has been parsimonious in its' budget allocations. There is still a wealth of knowledge and entertainment to be found at this branch. It is a delight to visit.
