Words can’t describe how grateful I am for Proa Athletics! Proa exceeds expectations. By using unique techniques like proprioception and priming the nervous system, they help you get efficient, SUSTAINABLE changes and results. As a chiropractor, I can’t tell you how important and refreshing it is to have found a fitness center that aligns my mind and body. I’ve been working with Coach CG for a couple months now; he is not only a master of his craft - he is patient, kind, fun, and really takes the time to make sure you learn and get the most out of your workouts. I struggled with a persistent shoulder injury for about 6 months before I started training with Coach CG at Proa. After just two sessions, my muscles were sore, but my shoulder pain was gone! He used an assessment along with information about my training & sports history to figure out that my "injury" was likely a strength imbalance and helped me with corrective exercises and intentional training to balance everything out. These guys are smart, patient, and intentional with their training programs, giving each client targeted and personalized systems based on individual goals. I love their small group classes and the fact that they balance strength training with nutrition and mindset work. Proa's training gives me the functional skills to stay strong for my job, which involves a lot of physical labor, and to keep playing sports and living the type of life I want to live. I came in hoping to heal an injury, and I found so much more, including community and life-long friends!
PROA team really does hold you accountable and make sure you achieve your health/fitness goals. The support system is great - they're always available if you have any questions outside of class time. The group classes make you sweat buckets but the team of coaches is great so the time spent doesn't feel like a chore.
Relatively new Proa Athletics member and I can say that I have found what I am looking for. For years I’ve trained in the gym with mixed HIIT workouts and weight lifting but with no real guidance which lead to injury and inconsistent results. Owner Chris G. And Coach Josh B. really heard me out and have designed a program for me tailored to my goals. At Proa Athletics, they really look to educating members on all movements while fostering a community which I appreciate and grateful to be a part of. If you have the means, join the adventure!
It's one thing to find a place to work out or get trained. It's a completely different story to find a community focused on improving all aspects of your life. Chris and Josh will put you through an amazing workout and at the same time teach you about how your body moves and give you the tools to be successful in and out of the gym.
