Sunset Cliffs Parking Lot

Greatest place to watch the sunset. My son goes their almost every night after work

The Sunset Ciiffs Parking Lot that I'm thinking of, consists of a series of west facing parking lots, all along the last mile or so of Sunset Cliffs Blvd.
They are all great for viewing some of San Diego's awesome sunsets all year around: During the late fall to winter months, they also serve as parking lots for area surfers from all over San San Diego County and other lo'cals from our East and Gulf Coast. The harbour some of the best waves along the California Coastline and are also visited by world travelling surfers.
The parking lots overlook areas clear from the O.B. Pier to Pescadero St., Osprey St., Bird Shit, Insides, Luscomb's Point, Rock Slide and so on...
The City of San Diego is turning a prime spot of land-fought over for years by a couple private concerns-that overlooks North and South Garbage and several other prime surf spots, into a park.
You can probably get any information you want at one of O.B.'s local surf shops.

Good for pulling up to enjoy a meal. If you've got a tailgate, back into your parking spot, pop that tailgate, and enjoy your food while staring out at the Pacific.

Lives up to the name. Beautiful sunsets here! Make sure to bring a camera to capture the moments!

Beautiful place. Great views. So relaxing. Not a lot of parking and traffic gets pretty bad.
