  As a first time rider, I was a bit nervous but our guide Brie was very friendly and I can tell she loved her job. She was a bit new and accidentally took us on the wrong trail twice but luckily my boyfriend and I are very understanding and didn’t mind at all considering it gave us extra time on the horses. I had a horse named M&M’s and my boyfriend had a horse named Jacks. Both were very calm and easy horses. DO NOT skip out on the bug spray and the sunscreen. I have the WORST case of mosquito bites on my legs even though I wore yoga pants (which are pretty thin). My boyfriend was wearing denim jeans and still got bit but not as much as me. They do provide bug spray, sunscreen, and helmets. I thought I would be fine without it but my stubbornness led to me having 15 swollen mosquito bites. I’m not blaming it on PonyLand because they did provide those tools. Just know you will get bit. Don’t wear your nicest clothes because it does get pretty dusty. I wish we stayed on the beach a little longer because it took about an hour just to get to the beach and we stayed on shore for only about 5 minutes. Other than that, it was a great experience and the pictures turned out great! Thanks again Brie!

  We had an unforgettable experience at Pony Land! We found them online while looking for a place to go horseback riding. To our surprise and excitement we saw you could ride the horses to the beach and into the ocean! We booked the 3 hour Private Swim Adventure. Holly was our guide and she was fantastic! She got us all set up on Fancy and Sonny and we were ready for adventure! The ride out was beautiful. Very relaxing and peaceful. Holly was very friendly, asking us about ourselves, and also very knowledgeable, providing some awesome information about horses, the vegetation and the surrounding area. The beach ride was amazing and getting into the ocean with the horses was something we will never forget. Just exhilarating! Was also a treat to ride up to the border wall and see into Mexico. The ride back was great as well, minus the mosquitos. Holly was very in tune to the surroundings as we came up on a rattle snake. We waited for it to pass and proceeded back. Felt very safe in her care. She also gave us information about the animals in the area as well as the different animals back at Pony Land that we could view and pet. We had such a wonderful experience with Pony Land and we have told our family and friends to go visit! Also, they provided complimentary water, sunblock and bug spray at check in. Use it! It came in very handy and made the trip that much more enjoyable! : )

  My husband and I enjoyed a Sunset Ride last night with Kendra, she was a great tour guide! Kendra saw us waiting around after checking in, she immediately jumped in to get us started on our ride (she wanted to make sure we had plenty of time on our ride and knew the other tour guides wouldn't start us on time)! It was perfect timing, because if we had left any later, we would have ridden back in the dark. Kendra took great pictures of us on the beach, was knowledgeable of the trail and nature surroundings. Kendra was great to chat with and we would definitely ride with her again! Grace and Latte were the chosen horses; I really enjoyed riding with Grace and Latte was perfect for my husband. Thanks again for the once in a lifetime experience and Pony Land should be happy to have Kendra back on the team!

  We absolutely loved the day and ride! It was very seamless, where we were texted welcomes, reminders, and Pony Land even provided water bottles for the ride, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Although a disability prevented me from participating, I was so overjoyed to hear the family say the rides made their vacation and a memory they'll never forget! Our guide was so awesome! If you are in a position where you can't attend, go check out Border State Park and the view of Mexico, San Diego, and the ocean, just down the road. The Anderson's
