(January 14, 2019, 11:23 am)It’s a beach..... sometimes waves are good. Live music quite often, and plenty of lovely locals to interact with.
There are tons of rats at night and in the morning, so walk abreast and walk slow to avoid stepping on a rat.
Nearby restaurants offer a good selection of local flavors, and international cuisine.
Nearby hotels are neat, inexpensive and guarded Day and night by staff. -

(June 25, 2018, 2:39 pm)So we went here to visit a friend who we have not seen in almost 20 years. Make sure to bring your ID. We were only given 10 minutes, and that was because the border patrol guy was nice about it. We were thankful for every second. Nice place to visit, ride bikes, hike, enjoy the beach. Looks a lot more fun on the Mexico side. I would like to visit that side in the future someday.
