“Love it. Highly proactive about my children's success. I was very impressed with the high level of academic rigor and teachers and administration helping each student reach their potential in a very positive way. Very responsive teachers who are on top of their game and know how to engage students. A really strong STEM, athletic and arts program with plenty of choices for kids to choose from at a very high level. All staff are caring and nurturing while keeping kids responsible to high expectations. The campus is a beautiful place to be a kid. We also love the schools values counselor. 5 stars plus! ”

“I’ve lived in the area for about three years and was excited to see this community get built. The idea and the housing are a great boon to the neighborhood and I’d recommend living here. With that said, let me share the pros and cons: the layouts utilize the space very well. Depending on the building and orientation, you will get beautiful natural light. Some buildings are close together however, making it likely that neighbors can peep in on one another. The appliances are new. They are not top grade. The kitchen design is solid with adequate cupboard space. The quality of the materials is so-so. Having a full size washer and dryer in the unit is wonderful as are two entrances. Love the high ceilings, window features and balcony space; wish the closets were larger all around. On site maintenance means they do respond to issues quickly and usually resolve things quickly. About the classes. This is perhaps the most unique thing about these apartments. The dean of the school, Ilana, is wonderful. She represents the community best of all and works hard to create a sense of connection and fun. She continues to find amazing teachers and courses. There aren’t any amenities like a pool or rec area, and half the grounds are in ore-construction phase (not yet beautified) and neighbors move out quickly (they offer short leases) which are two drawbacks IMO. I think longer leases are better suited to an intentional community. Pets are allowed and for the most part pet owners do a great job of cleaning up. Kids play in the neighborhood streets which is also good to see. Rents seem to be in the high side but electricity is included. All in all, it’s a little gem of a community and as it grows, it will enhance the neighborhood even more.”

“Amazing school, and if I could go back I would. BEST 6 YEARS OF MY LIFE..! Enroll your child in this school if you can because it has a bullying policy and they actually do something, and it is an amazing experience! (The pizza is weird, and the cheese on it is like plastic because it can slip off) all in all, it’s s great school!”

“This school is very nice, especially compared to a lot of the other schools in San Diego. Anyone who goes to Mesa Verde is very lucky to be taught on such a nice campus. Also, despite all the rumors, Mrs. Eisenga is the best teacher ever, she's just strict and wants you to learn in her class.”
