It is one of the best things I have ever done. difficult at times but very rewarding. There is so much to learn. One of the first things Professor Rodrigo told me is there "are no egos here. They are left at the door." and he is very truthful. Everyone here is helpful and encouraging. I would never pretend to be able to roll with the upper belts but when they grab me they are sharing their knowledge and extremely supportive. “I first saw Dr. Padilla for a back injury. He diagnosed some disc degeneration and started a treatment plan. I walked in that first time stooped over and in pain.....2 treatments and I was 80% better. I now see him on occasion for maintenance. I also took my 85 year old mother (who was visiting SD)with serious back issues into his office. He gave her treatment for 2 weeks....and then found her a doctor near her home that would be able to continue treatment. That is going well above and beyond.”

“Wanted excellent Thai and took my wife here. It’s in the trendy Skydeck portion of Del Mar Highlands Town Center. Pad Thai was phenomenal, it beat our favorite restaurant in Dallas. Chicken Tom Yum soup was great but not the pinnacle. Appetizers portion size was not generous, but the quality made up for that. Smallish dining area and shared ambience with the other 8 kitchens, which made it a little loud (but to be clear it was early on New Year’s Eve). Ginger tea was surprisingly rich and a little sweet. Noon was an attentive and skilled server. Kiin offers excellent Thai without breaking the bank.”

“UPDATE NOV 2020: They are doing the best they can with these busy nights. They are incredibly kind and attentive. They treat their customers very well. If they are a little late, that is OK. As long as the order is correct- people will understand. They have great food. The prices are good for the portion size. Keep a level head. Mira Mesa loves you. A year ago, October 2019. Incredibly delicious food, I have had 90% of the menu, their is a great variety of dishes. This place is busy and the staff tries to stay calm. ...the don't move quickly. The tips are shared between the staff, be generous. There is usually a wait. I have never had a bad dish.”

“Can't say enough about this brilliant, dynamic mother/daughter duo. Both have Western Medical Degrees (Neurology and Ophthalmology), both are Acupuncturists and both instruct at UCSD. Dr. Chen is President of CA Alliance of Acupuncture Medicine and Dr. Tang instructs Professors at two Traditional Chinese Medicine Colleges in China. I knew nothing of their extensive training when I first took my mother who suffered from Alzheimer's Disease and who had severe back pain. The doctors were so gentle and caring with my mother and were able to alleviate her chronic back pain and greatly reduce stress associated with Alzheimer's. Since 2001, I have personally benefited from their acupuncture treatments and have recommended them to many colleagues and friends with an array of illnesses and injuries with good results. “I went to Paul when I wanted to record a 3 song EP of covers. He was great to work with as he took my vision and brought it to life. He recorded my vocals, came up with all the arrangements,played live guitar, and mixed and mastered it. His guitar playing was excellent, especially his tone. He never was over bearing with it like a lot of guitar players can be. It was a very rewarding and fun experience and am very happy with the result. I also thought his rates were very reasonable. I would definitely go to him again with another project.”
