  Heard from so many to go and try the chicken tortilla soup here. So we did. Didn't realize it is basically a fast food place so that was disappointing but no biggie. The soup was really good but San Marcos brewery has equal or better. Lourdes gives you the soup in a container with a tiny spoon. The tortilla was good. We get they don't want to have dishes and it's fast food but a bowl would have been much nicer. San Marcos brewery has more chicken and fresh goodies in theirs. We might be back to try something different but only if driving thru San Elijo.

  Definitely the top of the list for quick Mexican food. Very tasty, with quality ingredients and skilled preparation/cooking. Super personable staff. Been a Lourdes fan since first eating at their Cardiff location about 6 years ago. The San Elijo location is every bit as good!

  Good not great. I'll certainly go back for a quick bite but I don't crave it. Last time there I had a fish and shrimp taco combo with beans and rice. Like a lot of Mexican places to beans were kind of dry but the rice was fine and the tacos were good. one of the best things about this place is the salsa bar, love the carrots and peppers. They serve beer and wine which is a plus, conveniently located and prices reasonable for its location. I'll go back.

  So glad this place is here! Delicious and authentic Mexican food with great service. I love that it’s not greasy. My favorite is the chicken soup, the crispy tacos, and the breakfast burritos. We come here at least once a week (maybe more?? ????)!
