I was planning a trip and wanted my Sienna van gone over with a fine-toothed comb! Lu's got my car ready by going over everything from front to rear after running diagnostic. They found some leaks (in struts?) and repaired them. They serviced the transmission, did an oil change, changed all filters etc etc. The cost was reasonable and I felt safe leaving for my trip. The shop is very clean and they are nice and professional. I recommend highly to anyone.

My 1st time getting services at Lu's Japanese Car Specialist was more than amazing. I had driven my Acura to several shops who either didn't want to service my vehicle or didn't have time for an estimate. While waiting in line, Lu came and introduced himself to me, asked how he could be of service and accommodated me with getting home. Not only did Lu's technicians show me what I thought was bad but identified a leaking radiator and other items. After showing me all of the things I needed fixed, Lu used his shop owner's network to get me new tires as well. I am completely satisfied with the services and repairs but even more impressed by all of the technicians prompt and professional knowledge, skills and customer service support. I will always take my vehicle back to Lu's Japanese Car Specialist. His prices were even better than expected also. I wish he specialized in Denali yukons. I would stop going to the dealership. Thank you Lu and staff for taking care of me like I was family.

I was looking around all over for an auto repair place to get my front rotors and brakes done because every time I used the brakes the minivan would shake heavily. I usually use People Boys but I called San Marcos and Escondido and both locations couldn't take me in and even worse, I received two different prices quotes?!?! What?!?! Then checked Google for a 5 star rated car shop and spoke to Lu. Wow!! I explained the situation and he took me in just like that. I had my own performance rotors and brakes and they got it done in LESS THAN 1 HOUR!! This included the replacement of the parts and test drive of the car. They showed me what was changed and gave me the old parts. Lu was friendly, courteous, and
very professional. He had his techs get to work. The minute I came in his tech guys took the keys and drove the car straight in. Double wow! If I can rate this place more than 5 stars I would. Today, Pep Boys lost my business. Lu not only gained my business but a long term customer as well as someone who will be referring my San Diego family and friends to. Thanks again Lu!! By the way, his prices are reasonable and his work ethic is honest. He's been doing this for 30 years! I highly recommend his services.
