Been going to this hospital for 11 yrs now and have never been disappointed. Every doctor is amazing and so patient and caring. You can tell everyone in the hospital loves pets. Must see the lovely painted artwork on their wall. Also they have a cat entrance and a dog entrance for your pets safety.

Care is tailored to the individual needs of me and my dogs, we have always received great care and the fact that they know my seniors well and treat them so gently gives me peace of mind. I have always been able to get an appointment in a reasonable time frame. The only change I would love to see would be more weekend hours. My beloved Bennie had to be euthanized at emergency vet because after years of fighting chronic illness he rapidly declined on a weekend.

My dog Juno is terrified of the vet and the staff at Cuyamaca recommended we bring her in whenever we can so that they can spend time with her in the lobby to get familiar with the environment and people. Every time we go in one of the vets or receptionist sits with Juno and gives her treats to make her more comfortable for when she needs to come in for a real appointment.

This has also given me a chance to talk to some of the customers in the lobby who tell me nothing but great things about the care their pets receive from Cuyamaca Animal Hospital.

I am so grateful to have been referred to Cuyamaca Animal Hospital. Last week, they were able to squeeze my dachshund in for an emergency appt. and determined almost immediately, his need for emergency surgery after x-rays revealed a rock lodged in his intestines. Everyone from the women working at the front desk, to the vet techs and of course his veterinarian were kind, compassionate and took great care of my boy who I am happy to report seems to have made a full recovery. I have complete confidence In their care.

We are so happy we found Dr. Engall to care for our senior pups! All of the staff were great! We were placed in a side room that was so spacious and clean, and actually had an exit out the back. We are new to the area and sought out care for a while until we found the right place. This is definitely our new vet. Having a "small zoo", it's a relief to find affordable but through care for our pets!
