  My kids love the paddle boats that can be rented by the half hour. Duck food is only a dollar per bag so it makes it a fairly nice outting. The kids enjoy the snacks and icees that are sold there. They also sell dip n dots which is a family favorite. The staff is always pleasant.

  Great store, friendly people will help you with reservations, sell fishing passes, and rent paddle board. The store sells food, drinks, fishing equipment, and other supplies. Santee Lakes is a great place to spend the day.

  I went to Santee Lakes to walk. The day use fee is $4.00 per car, but you can park outside and walk in to see he footpaths. I walked the dog walk loop around lakes 6 and 7. The path on the east side is paved. On the west side it is rock and soil. I would go back.

Santee Lakes General Store is a great setting. for RV-ing, and on site service and repair is offered at this campground. Unsurprisingly you may stumble on a magnificent swimming pool here, so you may swim a couple of laps. On a sunny day it's a great idea to enjoy the weather. at the picnic area.
