In touring this facility, I'm taken aback at how beautiful the property is as well all of the activities that they have available for the residents and how kind and compassionate the staff is. Their services range from mild memory care to advanced Alzheimer's care. They have an awesome nursing team and med tech crew which most other facilities I've visited do not. This is such a great place to have my loved one taken care of.
Everyone at Vista Gardens works hard to give the residents a home that's comfortable and engaging. Vista Gardens always have activities for the residents so that they don't lose any capabilities. Additionally, each person, from caregivers to managers, ends up loving the residents so much that if one of them passes they grieve as well. Even going so far as hosting or attending funerals/celebrations of life.
I visited Vista Gardens a few weeks back, My friend was visiting her mom who is a resident at Vista Gardens and I decided to tag along. As soon as you walk in you feel welcomed the receptionist are great. My friends mother enjoys the outings and activities. Candy Bingo seems to be her favorite, We visited on a Saturday I was surprised to see they had a piano player. The residents seemed thrilled.
My granny lived at Vista Gardens for almost two years. We were in such a pickle to find her a place and Vista Gardens was delivered from the heavens. its the best thing that has ever happened to our family. she got great care from the staff. Rachel and Dr Abney were so kind to her. she loved to have her ice cream every day. she never played a game of bingo in her life until she moved in and loved it!! She passed in 2018 but so peaceful and well taken care of. thank you Vista Gardens staff and to North Coast Hospice for everything they did for my Granny. Vista Gardens will forever be family.
My mom moved to Vista Gardens from New York. She was living in her own home. She adapted in one day! We could not believe it. Her roommate, the food, the music and the group in the morning really helped her move. I can not thank the management people or caregivers enough for their care. They are the real super stars.
