This nursery is awesome. We had a very good experience visiting it. A huge variety of tropical fruit trees. The manager LEO, was very nice and polite, he answered all our questions and responded to all our concerns. He has a very good knowledge. We recommend it to all those who are seeking to buy fruit trees.
Great collection of exotic trees in a beaitiful setting. Great customer service by Leo. He patiently taught me about the trees and their care. He also was very ingenious with loading up 2 trees in my car. Don't waist your time anywhere else. All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience.
Hi my name is Felipe Castellon, and I will like to share the espiriance the I had buying a Guava Tree, the person who help me out is very helpful he knows about the trees and tells you what to do ,to get best results His Name is Leo , you can be shure he will be glad to helping you out.
I'm not so sure what the 1-star reviews are referring to because the customer service I experienced was top notch. Perry truly cares about his customers and his trees, making sure every customer is receiving a healthy / high quality tree, ready to fruit in half the time compared to those grown from cuttings or by seed. He's also happy to explain any process or care to ensure a healthy tree for years to come. He uses a process called air layering as many plants are difficult to propagate if they do not grow well from seeds or cuttings, and lack low-growing stems for conventional layering. Perry puts in the work so you can sit back and enjoy a beautiful tree that fruits in a fraction of the traditional time it takes. Seriously though, California Fruit Tree is a gorgeous nursery with an enormous selection.
I emailed back and forth with Perry for a few weeks about buying a mulberry tree. Since I live on the opposite side of San Diego county I wanted to make sure the drive was worth it. He was very helpful with discussing the various types. I chose this nursery because of their excellent selection and because they also have much larger established trees and not just little 3 and 5 gallon ones. The nursery was impressive to say the least. So many tropical fruit varieties as well as common ones. It was also nice to see established fruit trees on the property so you can get the 'full size' picture. Staff was very helpful and we got an excellent 'Oscar' mulberry in a 20 gallon pot. Will be back again for sure.
