First Lutheran Church

It was my first time attending a ceremony at First Lutheran Church and it was great. The pastor gave a beautiful Quinceñera Ceremony. He gave my Niece/Goddaughter a great speech she will carry on for the rest of her life.

This is the one of the most friendliest places in the community. My daughter goes to the daycare and we're glad we choose this place!

We have been members here for nearly 30 years! We have seen several Pastors come and go and we have been here during the hard times and during growth. What has been the defining characteristic of this church is that it REALLY is a family! I have been so impressed with members that have gone above and beyond in reflecting the love of Christ by taking care of each other and those members of the community that are less fortunate. Whether it be a church member facing medical challenges, volunteering at the local homeless shelters or pitching in with building homes in Mexico with Habitat for Humanity, this church family has met every challenge. So many churches are defined by having a charismatic Pastor, this church is defined by its members who are truely a church family..

Very welcoming.

This is not a church you will be turned away from or shamed because of lack of attendance or for having belonged to a different religion previously. Its about celebration and community and less about feeling guilty, needing a membership card or hellfire and brimstone. This is a smaller intimate church where everyone is welcome be it once a year on Christmas Eve for the candlelight service or every Sunday.

There are two services the first taught in English and the later service taught in Spanish. Some weeks they combine services so you get a taste of both. Be sure to check their website for the start time if you have not been in awhile as they have a different start time when combining services.

They also recently installed a brand new system for those hard of hearing. Handicap accessible.
