  I went w several freinds and we shared everything. Every sandwich was excellent, quality meat, quality and fresh bread, fresh toppings, excellent sauces. Far beyond Subway or any other sandwich eatery I can think of. Staff and service was excellent as well. You order at the counter but they kindly hand deliver to your table.

  5 star experience every time. Been coming here for years. By far the best subs and sandwiches you can find in San Diego county. They are not your normal shop, as everything they do is like a specialty and they specialize in everything.
  
  Have never had a bad experience in 6years at this or their previous location is Escondido. They are priced just right or even rather low for their high quality you get here. The owner and his mother treat everyone like their family and the staff is always friendly courteous and always willing to do what they can to make the experience a great one.
  
  And also, handmade cookies made fresh daily. Need I say more?

  The only reason I’m giving a 4 is bc the service was pretty good but not the salad I ate. I ordered a grilled chicken fajita salad and I am not a fan. The chicken was not fajita style and the ranch dressing was obviously from a bottle. The salad was a good sized portion and had a lot of good veggies. However when I order something fajita style, I want to taste that actual fajita taste that was lacking badly with this salad. I think for $10, your fajita chicken needs to taste better than bland chicken heated up in a pan and your dressing should be homemade. I could’ve created the same salad at home and ended up with the same taste.

  We had Hungry Bear cater our spinal decompression conference last Saturday. Mia did a great job making sure everything was covered. The sandwiches were delicious, and we had everyone satisfied. Thank You Hungry Bear!

  The best sandwich shop I've visited in North County. Excellent bread, fresh ingredients, and super stuffed sandwiches. Every time I bring one of their sandwiches to my son's baseball game people always ask me where I got them. Their salads are also fantastic. Make sure to try their secret sauce dressing and potato salad.
