“Dr. Greenfield is highly skilled, and very compassionate doctor: I suffered a fractured ankle and a completely torn ligament in a skydiving accident on a Sunday afternoon - Dr. Greenfield came in immediately to the UCSD E.R. and interviewed me and then promptly began the procedure to re-attach the tip of my left fibula with screws and then he supervised the closing and cast application ......within a matter of only a few months I was healed up, pain-free and back on the job (my work is extremely physical / I'm a Certified Arborist - Tree Surgeon) A year or so later I bumped into Dr. Greenfield (physically as I recall) at Bully's on La Jolla Blvd. and not only did Dr. Greenfield remember me, but he also insisted on picking up the tap for an abundance of white wine in the bar..... “Dr. Eric Hofmeister is an extraordinary physician, compassionate healer. I ignored the subtle signs of carpal tunnel syndrome. I then suffered relentless numbness left hand, in particular left fingers. Given that I've played fiddle for over 40 years, I was very upset and fearful of permanent nerve damage. Dr. Hoffmeister was highly recommended by surgical techs that worked with him. It's a testimate in the highest regard when surrounded by a world class group of surgeons at Synergy... Appointments were made, a sense of urgency was honored. He took charge, contact was made, and surgery scheduled. There were other potential issues were eliminated with an MRI administered same day. We live about 4.5 hours north on San Diego. I would travel across the country for this type of care and expertise. Doctor Hofmeister took time to explain in detail the procedures. While it's not certain there's no permanent nerve damage, we're all certain, the condition was mitigated as expediently as possible. Thanks so much for your help Doctor Hofmeister and staff. “Excellent staff. I had a 8mm kidney stone. Ended up in emergency twice. Hint to everyone use a vibration messages to temporarily release the pain. Called their office and got my appointment within a week. Extremely nice staff as I said. My appointment was on Wednesday at 4:30 by 5pm I was having an X-ray at the hospital next door. The doctor called me next day on Thursday with the information about the stone. He clearly gave me all the options I had based on the result the day before, but reiterated them in this call. Laser surgery was the way to go. By next day his team submitted the paperwork for the insurance. They advised me to also call the insurance in order to speed up the process. By Monday I was in the surgery room. I don’t remember anything other than falling asleep and waking up a few hours later. I was able to get up and go the bathroom. Recovery took about 3 days and wow I am a changed person now. The next appointment was set automatically within the next two weeks. I highly recommend them. Trust me I had to deal with other urologists before and his is my #1. Thank you to all the staff.”
