They do individual private sessions or small groups of two to four people, so regardless of the format, you get careful attention to your form and movement. This is not some Club Pilates workout or group fitness class with a teenager hollering at you to get your reps in; this studio engages in high quality Classical Pilates. If you’re thinking of trying Pilates for the first time, getting back into Pilates after a short break (or Pandemic-long break, lol), or if you are recovering from an injury, I’d highly recommend this studio. They know what they’re doing, so you can get an amazing workout and start moving and feeling better right from the get go. For years they’ve had a studio down in Solana Beach, but this year they have a new studio in Carlsbad, which I find even more convenient. Their flat-rate pricing is nice whether you prefer to buy a class pack or pay-as-you-go. The instructors are fabulous, particularly the owner, Colleen. Her ability to cue you to move slightly differently and get the move just-right is unmatched, and she’s just a wonderful, giving person. Trust me; you will love her classes.”
