They are so much more than a simple doctor's visit. From the first time I visited, talked to the staff, got my blood work done and really started to understand what happens as we get older, to the many months later visiting every week, the process has been amazing, thorough, informative and enjoyable. I enjoy everything from discussions and suggestions on my blood pressure, energy drinks and supplements that I am taking to a good understanding of my blood test results and what they means in relation to how I feel from day-to-day. In my industry I am exposed to a lot of different people in very close quarters and as a result I can end up feeling wore down. Several times I have reached out to AMH both in Carlsbad and Phoenix and have been seen immediately and provided with extra vitamins (B12, C, etc) to help combat anything that was coming on and provide an extra boost to my own immune system! “Richele is easily one of the best health care specialists I have ever known, and I've known quite a few. Since the 1980's, I've acquired injuries from an odd variety of activities including (but not limited to) folkstyle wrestling, breaking ("break dancing" to the media), Jiu-jitsu... and even heavy lifting at a public aquarium. Some of those injuries changed my life. The damage has put me into a cyclical nightmare of losing sleep, making it hard to do my job mentally or physically, or heal from the last time the injuries were aggravated at the job. As you can imagine, a man who used to bench press nearly twice his own weight and out-wrestled bullies twice his size as a youth is going to be depressed with this unexpected downturn in life. I was the last person my relatives or friends would have expected to have health problems. Richele has given me hope, and I travel a great distance --past other doctors and treatment centers-- to keep appointments with her. “06/06/09 this crazy date was when I had gotten into a horrific motorcycle accident that there was no way I should’ve lived from let alone walk away from. I don’t remember much that happen after getting into the back of the ambulance after waking up then going out again. When I woke up and was finally somewhat conscience, all I heard was Dr Tontz Jr. voice he said to me,” don’t worry, I will take good care of you.” To me, it sounded as an angel had spoken to me. Dr Tontz Jr. kept his words and took very great care of me, and the crazy part about it is that my medical had just expired a month prior and I don’t even realize it. Jr. and Sr. Both took care of all my surgeries which I believe was 4, I did not know how in the world I was going to be able to pay for all of that medical bill, but Jr. made things work and gave me a second chance to walk again with my own leg instead of giving up and cutting it off. I will never forget his voice, because when I heard it I had tears which was something very hard for me to do. If your reading this both Dr Tontz, thank you so much for giving me this second chance at life and not giving up on me! I know you can remember this survey Dr Tontz!!!”
