“I go to Lolita's occasionally. I don't understand what the big deal is. The food is just mediocre and overpriced for what you get. The tortilla on the quesadillas are always soggy and not on the edge of being crispy which makes it feel like you got it to go, and it's been sitting in your car for 2 hours( I had it in the restaurant). The chicken is Pretty Tough. It almost feels like dark meat. I will say the chips for very tasty. and 35 minutes want for Mexican fast food is ridiculous.”

My only wish is that the house potatoes and potatoes in the breakfast burrito were softer. We cooked them a little jobber and they were perfect. “We got a coupon in the mail so I filed it in my coupon envelope cuz you never know when you'll have a KFC 🍗 emergency! Yesterday while out for an errand, I was hankering for some KFC 🐔.... pulled out my coupon and the 9 piece bucket for $15.99 got my attention. So off I went to the nearest KFC in Vista... the first place I went in said we don't have this coupon and told me to go to the KFC in Oceanside. I called before leaving the parking lot and was told they don't have that coupon in their system and the special they have currently is 8 pieces for $21. I wasn't about to give up because now I'm really curious why KFC would send out a coupon and their locations have no idea what the heck it is! I called another KFC in Oceanside, the 2007 Mission location, and the lady I spoke with told me we don't have that coupon but bring it in and we'll see what we can do. Off I went! When I got there, the young lady I showed the coupon to said let me get my manager. Flora (sp) the manager too said we don't have this coupon in our system. She asked where I got it, I told her I got it in the mail. I also told her I'm really curious why KFC would send out a coupon but none of the locations that I've been to or called have it in their system.... Long story short, she didn't turn me away! Flora told me what she was willing to do for me and did it! I appreciate the level of customer service and the way she and her staff dealt with me! I came in during dinner time and I wasn't the only one person hankering for some KFC🍗! All three staff were working hard filling orders but never did I feel rushed nor did they make me feel bad for having a mystery coupon! I was so pleased with the exchange I went back to the car to grab some moola for a tip! I got home with my bucket of guilty pleasure to go with my steamed rice and garlic broccoli 🥦 (the things we do to justifya bucket as we get older)!!! Thank you Flora and staff for being kind, for smiling, and working hard to provide fantastic customer service 😋!!!!”

The Food: It's fresh! I can taste the high quality of all the ingredients that they used. Believe me, I love eating out so I know the difference. On each bite I can tell that they really make sure that they cooked and prepared it appropriately. 2. The Service: As long as they meet the standard, that's an okay restaurant in my book. Well guess what? This place exceeded my standard of great service. You can feel the positivity as soon as you walk in that door. Which takes me to the last part of this review.. 3. The Atmosphere: I can sense the feeling of calmness in this place. The location is quite accessible as well as the parking. I feel that I'm really in Hawaii. And I have to add this... The place is just squeaky clean! It just makes you feel at ease. Despite their busy schedule, we had a chance to talk to the owners of this particular L&L Branch and they are very professional and quite lovely. Thank you for the amazing food! The first few times we went there were very few people eating but this last time we went they were packed. Their prices are pretty darn good but the food is great and a nice ambiance. I got the Cali Roasted Turkey Melt with pancakes, excellent crispy grilled multiple grain toast with actual sliced roasted turkey breast (not deli style), several slices of hickory-smoked bacon, a 4 cheese melted blend on the toast, cherry tomatoes that tadted sun dried but i believethey were roasted, about 1/2 a small Hass avocado, then a light glazing of mayo...made for a very tasty sandwich. And the pancakes!!!! Talk about hitting the spot! Super airy, fluffy, cooked perfectly with crisp outer and soft inner, no syrup needed -just a good helping of butter fully melted in and hello heaven! He got the chicken strips and waffles, always a good choice; juicy, crisp, nicely flavored and always good waffles.”

“I brought my family of 4 here twice before this review. Children loved everything on the menu. Not one complaint! The servings are generous and definitely more than other nearby sushi places with the same prices. The food quality is fresh and tasty. We loved the appetizers: tempura Brussel sprouts, gyoza, amongst others. The various ramen we tried were copious and flavorful. The garlic noodles were excellent. In short, there was not one dish we didn't like. The leftovers were great the next day. While there are other good sushi/ramen places nearby, I just prefer this one better. Easy to get seated, fast service, and food served piping hot and fresh. The food preparation videos are intriguing and we enjoyed talking about what we saw on screen. The lighting and ambiance is perfect. I have astigmatism so the lighting was just right for me. Friendly service and warm greeting and goodbye. Highly recommend and will come again!”
